What better way for knitters to look forward to Christmas?
That's right! An advent calendar filled with small portions of wool, one for each day....
The photo merely reflects the mood of the colors contained. The colors are taken from a photo of the original balls. The dyes are, in true dibadu style, speckled and varied. They are not solid Colors!
This year, for cost reasons, we are only offering one "kind of advent calendar". The individual portions of yarn are wound up ready for knitting and sorted into the box in a possible sequence. They result in a progression that is full of surprises.
If you still want to be surprised, the enclosed sheet shows you where you can pierce the cover with a knitting needle and find the inner yarn end of the ball of yarn for the respective day. You can of course unpack everything straight away and choose a different order for yourself.
.... and the anticipation of Christmas can begin.
What you knit from it is up to you. Whether you knit yourself several pairs of socks in fun stripes, a large stole or one of the instructions from the Internet for such mini sets, the minis will make for exciting colorways.
If you would like to knit one of our own patterns for an Advent calendar, please let us know. On request, we can include our "Adventurer's Tale" or the stole "Waiting for the Christ Child" as a printed version or as a PDF.
The individual colorways are not dyed.
