Asa
Linen and summer somehow belong together, don't they?
Here it is refined with a small proportion of silk and cotton to bring the special properties of these fibers on board. Asa is used to create delicate, airy summer knitwear that adds the softness of cotton and the sheen of silk to the typical linen character.
Linen itself is a marvel of nature. It is a dense fiber and traps little air. It can absorb up to 35% moisture and quickly releases it back into the surrounding air. Linen is therefore cooling and warming when dry. The water retention on the surface gives it bactericidal, dirt-repellent and almost antistatic properties. All this makes it the perfect material for summer clothing.
ITO So Asa is made from the same basic yarn, but is twice as thick at approx. 230 m per 50 g.
