Malvinas is spun from merino wool from the Falkland Islands. In Spanish this archipelago is called Islas Malvinas. That explains the name.
It's a wonderfully delicate pure wool that pairs perfectly with Noro's most popular yarns. With the same yardage as, for example, Kureyon, Ito, Viola or Silk Garden, it is perfect for accentuating certain colors there.
The colors themselves shine in the wonderful accent colors of the yarns mentioned. This results in fantastic combinations for all pattern knitters, be it Fair Isle, mosaic technique or brioche.
