Do you remember my Wild Willis?
Many years ago, I dyed them. They were fun colorful skeins of sock yarn that were one of a kind. To properly showcase their special quirkiness, I had written a pattern for socks that took their multicolored nature into account.
Unfortunately, for various reasons, there are no more Widen Willis. But to follow up I invented my sock painters.
I have thoroughly revised and rewritten the sock patternto show off the DoubleFun sets to their best advantage.
It's a pattern with slipped stitches and basically you just knit striped socks.
I've always been particularly fond of these. On the one hand, because you always use only one thread and on the other hand, because you can measure the progress so nicely on the stripes.
When the sock painter from the DoubleFun set alternates with the calmer thread, the result is an exciting color spectacle - in some places with high contrast in some places the colors almost blur into each other.
For the premiere of the pattern I have dyed many new DoubleFun sets and from now on you will receive the instructions "Love, Your Willi" in printed form with every order, in which at least one such set is included.
Because the pattern is printed in german only, but in case you would like itjust give me a shout so that I will send you the english version per email.
