Colour stories - for people with colorful dreams

We dye especially for you from the 20th of the month. You can then expect delivery by the end of the month, we do not make partial deliveries.

There is a new color story every month. In 2024 we will also take you to the world of Murmilies. The Murmilies are friendly creatures that live in large clans in their own world. You can tell very well who belongs to which clan and we introduce you to a different clan from a different world every month.

As an example, there are always 8 Murmilies from each world to which we dedicate a coloring. Murmilies from three generations always result in a sequence of 8 skeins in the coloring - grandma, grandpa, mum, dad and a group of 4 children who are finely matched to each other. Together they form a fadient.

So 2025 will also be a new year of color palettes. There is a whole palette of colors for each month and you can choose which Murmilie you want to put on your needles. Whether one or two, or all of them.

This year we are accompanying the Murmilies on all kinds of adventures. They love to travel and so they always find something particularly fun to do with each other and with us.

In January, the Murmilies are lured outside by the snow-covered world. They simply try out everything. They build snowmen and igloos, have a snowball fight, play ice hockey or simply go ice skating. Of course, they can also simply enjoy the snow, dancing with the flakes or “painting” a snow angel in the white surface.

The colouways looks different on the different yarn qualities. On some it is more blurred and small speckles not as clearly defined as on others. Yarns without a superwash finish or with fuzz produce more watercolour effects than others, silk yarns shine and glow..

Our stitch painter is only available in "his month", but on all the qualities of our Funnies that we offer as standard.

If the month is up, there is only any remaining stock on the individual yarns, then it will not be re-dyed again.
